The Complete Treatment - incorporating Veinwave

Since 2001, Veinwave has been used across the world, now in over 31 Countries, to eradicate spider veins and telangiectasia utilizing the principle of 'Thermocoagulation' - a technique which uses high frequency localised heat energy, via an ultra fine insulated needle, to break down the vessel wall through the skin causing its immediate disappearance. It is safe, reliable and relatively painless - a walk-in, walk-out procedure with no pre-care or aftercare required. Veinwave is recognised by many as being the gold standard in the treatment of these fine cosmetic veins. Veinwave's application has been limited however to vessels less than 0.3mm in diameter - any larger veins would generally require a combined therapy such as Sclerotherapy.

At last, Experts from Europe have taken the principle of thermocoagulation and developed it for treatment of larger vessels up to 4mm in diameter. Known as EVRF, Endovenous Radio Frequency, the same energy can now be applied from within the vessel using a specially designed and patented catheter.

This new device, known as the EVRF, therefore requires the use of a needle or a catheter depending on the size of vein you want to treat. For fine spider veins and telangiectasia, the Veinwave technique is used in the same way as we do with the stand alone Veinwave device but for the larger veins, you simply select that option on the touch screen and use the catheter as directed.
